Halloween Night

One Halloween night something gave me a fright.

It was a scary ghost in the spooky night.

He was flying high

Scaring people. Why?

It seems to them the right thing to do

Watch out!  They might even scare you!

So I went for a walk

I walked and I talked.

I looked up in the air...

I saw a ghost!  What a scare!!

The haunted house gave me the chills

I was about to run for the hills!

The haunted house had witches, goblins and ghosts

They were happily eating some rye toast!

They have one tooth like a spike.

One haunted house I almost walked by

But I didn't know I was really too shy!

Rubbing his tummy.

There was also a witch

Who landed in a giant ditch.
