We had fun doing this poetry. I asked the kids to write a list of things that they couldn't buy with money.

Then I wrote their answers on a chart.  We had a number of silly things, but that was fine.  They eventually understood what I was getting at. They did a terrific job!

Money can't buy everything.

It can't buy the freedom we should of had during slavery.

It can't make dumb people smart.

And it certainly can't turn an ugly, cruel heart into a

beautiful, caring, generous heart.
