December 20, 2002-----Holiday Buffet....12:00pm Please do not bring any siblings since our room is small and cannot hold everyone if younger children attend.



January 1, 2003-----Happy New Year!!!  2003!

February 10, 2003-----The week of February 10th a letter will go home informing you about Biography Day.  Children will read a biography of someone who is no longer living.  They will do a written report. (I will be supplying the details of the report.)   In March, (date below) they will come to school dressed like their person and give an oral report.  Parents are invited to attend.

March 1, 2003-----Yaphank Fire. Dept.
All are welcome to attend.
     March 26, 2003----Biography Day at 10am in the classroom

                                        All are welcome to attend.

April 11, 2003------The Talent Show--Saxton Middle School--

                                             7-9pm

 

May 1, 2003-----Brookhaven National Lab. Trip

May 9, 2003-----Mother's Day Tea- -2:00 pm  - -Please attend or send someone so your child will not feel alone.  This also will be my last Mother's Day Tea, since I am retiring in June.

 

May 15, 2003----Staller Center, Stonybrook---Ramona Quimby
 

Canceled June 6, 2003 --- Bronx Zoo Trip 8am - 6pm We do leave promptly so be 

                             there around 7:45am.

 
June  24th,  2003   End of Year Picnic  12pm

You will be asked to bring a hot or cold dish, just like our Christmas Buffet.
